According to the Washington State department of Health (WSDOH), the top ten leading causes of death in Washington State are: cancer, coronary heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Another major illness is asthma. This affliction is a major cause of disability among children. Cancer is the leading cause of death in Washington. Sadly, the top five common cancers are treatable. That is, if they are detected early enough. These include four of the most common cancers (lung, breast, colorectal, melanoma). It also includes the most preventable and treatable cancer – cervical cancer.
So why are these diseases on the rise? Especially if they are preventable and curable according to the CDC. It turns out there are three main reasons. First, most Americans do not eat a healthy diet. According to fitness.gov, over 90% of Americans eat an unhealthy diet. Second, as we age we become more susceptible to these diseases. Third, by age forty, your body’s ability to produce enzymes is reduced by 70%.
There is a Natural Solution…
Remember that enzymes are the only chemical in your body capable of doing work to maintain chemical balance. This is why your body’s ability to maintain health diminishes as we age. If we add on a poor diet, the results can be catastrophic.
This is why I became an enzyme nutrition specialist. Enzymes do work in the body to support a healthy functioning system. This supports healthy chemical balance. We perform specific testing to determine he proper enzymes with a customized diet designed for your genetic strengths. Together, these are the key to support a healthy functioning body.
