E-Cigarettes Contain High Heavy Metal Levels

E-Cigarettes Contain High Heavy Metal Levels – In this day and age many people turn to e cigarettes.  Because you inhale vapor instead of steam, many believe they are less harmful.  However, new evidence reveals these products contain deadly amounts of heavy metals.

E-Cigarettes Contain High Heavy Metal Levels

So, I think I can guess what you’re thinking.  “I smoke e cigarettes.  What’s the big deal about heavy metals?” Well, every time you take a puff of your e-cigarettes, you expose yourself to toxic heavy metals.  Additionally, these heavy metals increase your risk for heart disease, cancer and stroke.  On top of that, people exposed to second hand e-cigarette “smoke” suffer the same intake of these dangerous heavy metals.  In fact, did you know that e-cigarettes contain formaldehyde, free radicals and other harmful chemicals?  Fortunately, e-cigarette smoking rates are on the decline.

The Research

So, how in the world did they find this out?  Scientists at John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health conducted a study.  They thoroughly analyzed e-cigarette devices from various makers.  These devices use an aerosol to deliver their products. Sadly, the aerosol contains unsafe levels of lead, nickel, chromium and manganese.   Researchers recruited study subjects from vaping conventions and e-cigarette shops in the Baltimore area. The devices were brought to the laboratory where researchers tested for the presence of 15 metals.

So where are all of these heavy metals coming from?  Sadly, scientists found much larger amounts in the liquid that had been exposed to heating coils.  This difference suggested the heavy metals were originating from the heating coils within the e-cigarette tank.  Of the different metals measured in the aerosol, lead, nickel, chromium and manganese were most concerning as they are highly toxic when inhaled.

Cleanse your body

Well doc, I don’t smoke e-cigarettes.  Great!  In fact, I’m thrilled to hear that!  However, did you expose yourself to e-cigarette smoke recently?  If so, you’re still at risk.  Either way, we can help your body cleanse itself of heavy metals.  Do you know what your body does with these heavy metals?  Surprisingly, your body tries to wall them off with fat.  So, in order to get rid of them one has to metabolize the fat, and then eliminate the hazardous chemicals.   In fact, do you know what chemicals perform this task?  You guessed it, it’s enzymes!  The right enzymes can help your body metabolize the fat and then get rid of the heavy metals properly.
