Digestion affects health. I recently had a patient come to my office for enzyme nutrition testing. Now it’s important to point out that due to patient privacy guidelines I have changed some of the minor details of the case. In fact, we’ll also use a made up name. How about Stu? Stu came in to my office after going from doctor to doctor in the medical system. In fact he brought in about 30 pages of exams, image and lab tests. And of course, all of them reported normal. Surprisingly, on his way to the office he had to call and ask directions several times.
When he showed up in my office, the first thing I did was take the time to sit down with him and listen to his problems. After speaking with Stu, I discovered he suffered from a host of serious concerns. Most noteworthy, Stu’s problems included severe brain fog, weakness, rapid unhealthy weight loss, and chronic pain. In fact Stu was currently on disability. He used to work as a highly skilled fabricator, and really wanted to go back to work. He spent his day his days in absolute agony. Consequently he felt he had nowhere else to turn. Unfortunately, the medical field had no answers for him. Then, after some discussion and questions, Stu decided to do a consult.
After I performed a thorough consultation which included some careful preliminary testing and interview I determined he was a good candidate for care. As a result, his test results indicated his stomach wasn’t processing food properly, and the digestive lining in his small intestine was very unhealthy. After a customized diet and the correct combination of specific enzymes Stu started to feel better in about 3 days. He was able to concentrate better, he had more energy, and he was actually starting to gain weight. Additionally, he said he could feel the chronic pains and aches “slowly melting away”. After about 4 weeks, Stu said he started to feel like his “old self again”. In fact a couple of weeks later he was able to go back to work, exercise and concentrate more fully.
Does this sound like you or someone you know? Perhaps you’re concerned about digestive health? Or maybe you spend hours or days at home waiting for your problems to subside? In fact, are you missing out on work family or fun? If so, you can contact us one of several ways to set up a consultation. You can reach us on the web, stop by our office in Redmond, WA, or call us at 425-868-0120. Then I will personally sit down with you and talk about your suffering and how it affects your life. I will even do some preliminary testing as well as Bio Impedance Analysis (BIA). In fact did you know that both NASA and Cancer Treatment Centers of America rely on BIA? These tests help me determine if you are a good candidate for care. If you’re not, we’ll make every effort to provide the proper referral.
