Statin Drugs only add four days to your life. Statins are the most prescribed drug in the U.S. Sadly, they come with a host of serious side effects. These side effects include muscle pain, headaches and nausea. Sadly, they also greatly increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. In fact JAMA concluded in the study that this research could lead to a lower number of individuals recommended for statin drugs. This even includes people with increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
Statins are a group of medicines that lower ‘bad’ cholesterol by causing the liver to make less. Dr. Aseem Malhotra from the Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, said: ‘There appears to be no clear reduction in coronary heart disease mortality in western European countries from statins for primary [low-risk patients] and secondary prevention [high-risk patients].’ Dr. Malhotra was one of the study’s authors. So why don’t statins help? Actually, there is a simple answer. According to research from around the globe, there is no link between cholesterol and heard disease. If you need more evidence, look at either the Honolulu study or the Framingham Study.
Natural News actually reports that “Researchers in the NYU study said that heart attack survivors should focus on improving their health with diet and exercise instead of taking medications. They said that people over 65 who took statins were more likely to die than those who changed their diet.”
Digestion of Fats and Simple Carbs
As it turns out, your heart health depends on your ability to digest and use several key nutrients. Of course they are fats and simple carbs. The way your body digests, absorbs and uses them is crucial to your cardiovascular health. Of course by age 40, your ability to process these foods declines by 70%. This is where enzyme nutrition comes in. While I don’t treat cardiovascular disease, I can support heart and blood vessel health. I accomplish this by making sure your body can process carbs and fats the way it’s supposed to. But I only determine this after objective scientific testing based on sound medical principals.
Are you concerned about your heart health? Does your condition affect your quality of life? If so, you can contact us one of several ways to set up a consultation. You can reach us on the web, stop by our office in Redmond, WA, or call us at 425-868-0120. Then I will personally sit down with you and talk about your suffering and how it affects your life. I will even do some preliminary testing as well as Bio Impedance Analysis (BIA). In fact did you know that both NASA and Cancer Treatment Centers of America rely on BIA? These tests help me determine if you are a good candidate for care. If you’re not, we’ll make every effort to provide the proper referral.
After many years of clinical practice, Dr. Marrone has forged a remarkable career as a practitioner, educator and lecturer. His extensive knowledge of functional enzyme nutrition has made him a much sought after practitioner. If you are suffering from health problems that nobody seems to have the answer to, or are sick and tired of the revolving door approach of modern medicine, give Dr. Marrone a call to set up a consultation.
