Prescription Drug Scams. In case you haven’t read my bio, you may not know that my Dad is a practicing medical doctor. One day, when I was a young boy, I was working in his office filing charts. All of a sudden, I heard my dad yelling at someone in his office. A few seconds later, a man in a suit rushed out of my dad’s office. As a matter of fact, he was still putting on his coat and organizing his things. He also had frightened look on his face. Now I’ve never seen my dad behave that way so I was absolutely shocked. I looked at the office manager with concern. And she said he was probably a prescription drug rep.
Later that night, I asked my dad what happened. He said that the man was a prescription drug rep. He also said the man wanted to sign my dad up for an incentive program. In fact, every time my dad prescribed a certain drug, he earned “points”. At the end of the campaign, the doctors with the most points won an all expenses paid trip for four to the Superbowl that year. My dad explained that he felt that was unethical, and kicked the guy out of his office, refusing to sign up.
My dad graduated from Hershey Medical School. At that time, it was a very conservative school. In fact they taught that doctors should only use medical intervention when absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, times have changed.
While my dad was upstanding and ethical, how many doctors sign up for promotions like these? When you’re receiving a scrip, how can you be sure that at some subconscious level, your doctor isn’t thinking about that promotion? Even if he or she doesn’t mean to, that thought is still there. If I owned a gym, and told my patients that in order to get better they needed to join my gym, I would lose my license. The only way I wouldn’t is if I disclosed that I owned the gym, and provided other gyms as an option too. In fact it’s called a conflict of interest. So why does the government hold medical doctors and the prescription drug companies to a different standard? Isn’t that a bigger conflict of interest?
The Drug Free Approach To Supporting a Health Body
At Redmond Ridge Nutrition and Chiropractic, we don’t use drugs to treat diseases. Instead we use specific scientific testing to find the source of stress. Then we use custom dietary changes along with specific enzyme supplements to support healthy function of stressed organs and systems. We accomplish this safely, naturally and effectively without drugs or surgery. And of course, no one bribes us with unethical kickbacks. So you can rest assured we do not have any ulterior motives interfering with our clinical decisions. So we aren’t affected by prescription drug scams.
Would you like to reclaim your health naturally? Are you missing out on work family or fun? If so, you can contact us one of several ways to set up a consultation. You can reach us on the web, stop by our office in Redmond, WA, or call us at 425-868-0120. Then I will personally sit down with you and talk about your suffering and how it affects your life. I will even do some preliminary testing as well as Bio Impedance Analysis (BIA). In fact did you know that both NASA and Cancer Treatment Centers of America rely on BIA? These tests help me determine if you are a good candidate for care. If you’re not, we’ll make every effort to provide the proper referral.
After many years of clinical practice, Dr. Marrone has forged a remarkable career as a practitioner, educator and lecturer. Furthermore, his extensive knowledge of enzyme nutrition has made him a much sought after practitioner. If you are suffering from health problems that nobody seems to have the answer to, or are sick and tired of the revolving door approach of modern medicine, give Dr. Marrone a call to set up a consultation.
