Plant Proteins or animal proteins?

Plant Proteins are the Latest Trend.  Well, I was perusing some natural research web sites looking for my next topic.  And it seemed that no matter where I went, the latest trend for 2017 seems to be plant protein.  In this article I’ll discuss the pros and cons to this new fad, and how to get the most out of your plant based food.

There are several interesting reasons why plant protein is very popular right now.  I would also like to point out that I’ve touted plant protein since 2008.  In fact the protein I sell in my office is plant based.  However, one reason is that many plants actually have a higher protein concentration than many meats.  Another reason is that you can eat them raw and not have to worry about cooking them in unhealthy oils.

However there are several concerns with regarding plant proteins.  The first one is that meat contains proteins that have a wider variety of amino acids.  Your body requires these acids for many vital functions.  Secondly, your body can use animal proteins faster than plant proteins.  And lastly, your body cannot digest plant material without special enzymes.  And unfortunately, your body can’t make these enzymes.

The Solution

It’s important to get your protein from a VARIETY OF SOURCES.  This ensures your body receives all of the necessary amino acids.   It is also important to make sure you use the right enzymes help your body break down, digest, absorb and use those proteins.   This includes enzymes to help your body digest plant material.  This is especially vital since your body cannot make those enzymes and not all supplements contain them.

Are you concerned about healthy digestion?  Do you want to get the most out of your protein and diet?  If so, you can contact us one of several ways to set up a consultation. You can reach us on the web, stop by our office in Redmond, WA, or call us at 425-868-0120. Then I will personally sit down with you and talk about your suffering and how it affects your life. I will even do some preliminary testing as well as Bio Impedance Analysis (BIA). In fact did you know that both NASA and Cancer Treatment Centers of America rely on BIA? These tests help me determine if you are a good candidate for care. If you’re not, we’ll make every effort to provide the proper referral.
