Alzheimer’s disease – The right enzymes are crucial. As I was looking for enzyme research I found two very interesting research papers on this serious mental condition. One paper warned that certain enzymes can cause Alzheimer’s. Meanwhile, the other showed yet other enzymes may help. Obviously getting this right is critical.

According to Psych Central’sMayo Clinic researchers discovered an enzyme that destroys a toxic protein. This harmful protein accumulates in the brains of people who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease. This protein is known as Beta Amyloid, for those of you who like big words. The enzyme, known as BACE2 breaks down these proteins. As a result, they may help support healthy brain activity in patients who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease.
However, this is where you need to use extreme caution. You see, BACE2 is closely related to another enzyme, known as BACE1. BACE1 builds this protein. As a result, it could actually cause Alzheimer’s disease, or make it worse. This, of course, is why using “Dr. Google” to help you decide what supplements to take can be quite risky.
According to Psych Central, Alzheimer’s disease is the most common memory disorder in the U.S. In fact, it affects more that 5.5 million people in this great nation. However, yet researchers continue to search for an effective treatment of this horrible illness.
Enzymes to Support Healthy Brain Function
While I don’t diagnose or treat any disease (including Alzheimer’s disease), I can help support healthy brain function. And of course this, in turn, promotes healthy memory recall. I provide this support with a specific plan. And this plan usually includes custom dietary changes and the correct enzyme supplements. Of course I only make recommendations after scientific testing based on sound medical principles.
Are you concerned about your brain health? Does it affect your job, family or fun? Are you worried about the long term affects? If so, you can contact us one of several ways to set up a consultation. You can reach us on the web, stop by our office in Redmond, WA, or call us at 425-868-0120. Then I will personally sit down with you and talk about your suffering and how it affects your life. I will even do some preliminary testing as well as Bio Impedance Analysis (BIA). In fact did you know that both NASA and Cancer Treatment Centers of America rely on BIA? These tests help me determine if you are a good candidate for care. If you’re not, we’ll make every effort to provide the proper referral.
After many years of clinical practice, Dr. Marrone has forged a remarkable career as a practitioner, educator and lecturer. His extensive knowledge of functional enzyme nutrition has made him a much sought after practitioner. If you are suffering from health problems that nobody seems to have the answer to, or are sick and tired of the revolving door approach of modern medicine, give Dr. Marrone a call to set up a consultation.
